Reassembling Your Rochester Quadrajet Carburetor

Flip your main body so that the top is facing down.  Install the appropriate "base plate gasket" that came with your rebuild kit.  Do not add any sealer to any gaskets at any time.  Place the base plate on the main body which has gasket attached. 

Insert all screws and tighten to the torque specifications and order provided in the details of your instructions.  It is very important to follow the correct torque order to reduce or eliminate warping of the main body, base plate and/or top plate.

Once you installed your base plate and all screws have been torqued it's time to install your new replacement parts.
